Some of the services we offer include:

Pre-Assessments
Our pre-assessments evaluate the compliance potential of a supplier prior to engaging in a long-term relationship, and are especially useful when going '"factory direct" to a new supplier. Providing a quick snapshot of the working conditions of the facility, focus is placed on key critical issues such as health and safety conditions, child labor, and hiring polices.

Strategic Assessments
Strategic assessments focus more on management systems, which help to understand the reason for compliance gaps rather then simply identifying the symptoms of non-compliance. At the conclusion of the assessment, Insite issues a recommended strategy for narrowing the compliance gaps discovered during the factory visit.

Follow-up Assessments
Upon review of the assessment report, a follow-up visit is scheduled to focus on specific non-compliance issues discovered during the initial assessment and/or potential "red flags" due to weak management systems. Recommendations for remediation are made, where the focus is placed on collaboration, worker involvement and providing remedies, not simply expecting compliance.

Audits
Audits can be very effective when it comes to addressing general health and safety issues, as well as verifying compliance and identifying problems.  However, it is important to note that change does not take place during the audit but during the remediation process, which could include performing an assessment, an issue specific audit, or a follow-up audit.

Issue Specific Audits
Issues Specific Audits target particular issues, and allow for a more focused use of time and money. The decision to conduct an issue specific audit may be based on known regional issues such as migrant workers, a trend of specific non-compliance findings of a given vendor, or a focused follow up based on the findings of an initial assessment or audit.

Capacity Building Projects
Through Insite's global network of compliance agents and NGO partnerships, we work with the most qualified individuals and organizations by region and area of expertise to provide you with the skill sets needed to engage in special projects.

Examples of different types of special projects include:

 

Agent Assessments - Insite will assess the compliance efforts of your buying agents to determine the need for additional compliance training or support.

Continuous Improvement - There are many different non-compliance issues that are best addressed through an ongoing continuous improvement program, such as fraudulent records. The first goal of Insite for any Continuous Improvement project is to gain factory level buy-in to the compliance process and to provide factory management with the support needed to be transparent about their operations.

Productivity Programs - Productivity Programs help to identify initiatives that focus on improving factory operations, which in turn lead to improved working conditions.

Worker Trainings - Empowering workers through labor rights, health, and life skills trainings is one of the most effective ways to enhance workers’ lives.
